Dewatering oil is a specialized, oil-based rust preventive. Applied after machining or washing, it actively displaces water from metal surfaces and leaves a protective film to block moisture and oxygen, preventing temporary corrosion during storage.
Dewatering Oil is a process fluid. It contains heavy solvents designed to flash-evaporate. Its primary job is to instantly strip water off a freshly washed or machined part so it doesn’t flash-rust in the factory. It leaves behind a very thin, temporary film.
